HOW DO YOU HONOR THE FALLEN OF THE 75TH RANGER REGIMENT? BY LIVING WELL.

The warriors of the 75th Ranger Regiment who gave their lives in service to this nation deserve more than remembrance—they deserve lives well lived in their honor. My thoughts this month are intended to remind each of you that their sacrifice calls us not only to reflect, but to carry on with purpose, integrity, and gratitude. I am reminded of the last stanza of the famous WWI Poem, In Flanders Fields, that says:

“If ye break faith with us who die / We shall not sleep...”

This final stanza of In Flanders Fields is a solemn charge. The fallen have passed us the torch—not just to defend freedom, but to live lives worthy of their sacrifices. The Ranger Creed reminds us that we will never leave a fallen comrade, this means in part never forgetting them or their sacrifices. One of the best ways to honor them is by leading exemplary lives.

Scripture reminds us of this same calling in Romans 12:1, which says:

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

To honor our fallen Rangers is to live with courage, humility, and purpose. It is to build strong families, serve our communities, lead with character, and carry forward the values our Ranger brothers died defending.

Their memory is not a burden—it is a light that guides how we live. And in living well, we keep faith with those who can no longer walk beside us.

Rangers Lead the Way!
