His book Against the Dark. How far would a father go to protect his child? When an alien invasion shatters the small town of Pines Hollow, Jack's world collapses into chaos. His only mission is simple—and impossible: protect his blind daughter, Lily, against a nightmare that no human was meant to face. But surviving the creatures that stalk the ruins is only half of the battle.

As Jack fights to keep Lily alive, he must also confront the scars of his past—the guilt, the anger, and the regrets he thought he had buried long ago. In a world where mercy has vanished and the line between man and monster blurs, Jack will be forced to answer the question he has spent a lifetime avoiding: How much of his soul is he willing to lose to keep the one thing he loves most?

Against the Dark is a brutal, fast-paced story of survival, sacrifice, and the unbreakable bond between a father and his daughter. As society crumbles, it strips away the illusion of civility, revealing what truly lies beneath. When the world falls apart, people don’t rise to greatness—they fall to instinct. And in that primal descent, the real monsters are not always the ones with claws.
