PAT MONTGOMERY

Pat Montgomery is a former Army Ranger, rancher, and father of four. He founded KC Cattle Company and Valor Provisions to fix how America does food, and now Forging Valor, a children's book series centered around Christianity, morals, and ethics for kids. His first book, George Washington: Before He Crossed the Delaware, donates 5% of gross profit to the Three Rangers Foundation. Pat lives on his ranch in Missouri with his wife Kaleigh, who illustrates the series, and their four kids.

About Forging Valor Book Series:

A children's book series about the men and women who chose character when it cost them everything.

History doesn't remember the people who played it safe.

This series tells the true stories of America's greatest leaders — not as legends on a pedestal, but as real people who were scared, flawed, and unsure. People who faced impossible choices and picked the harder path because it was the right one.

Each book is written for kids ages 5–12 and the parents who read to them. The stories are honest. The lessons are real. And every book ends with the same truth: your character isn't something you're born with. It's something you build, one hard decision at a time.
