TRANSITION IS A LIFELONG EVENT

Networking is relationships.  Networking without relationships is not much more effective than the old newspaper wanted ads.  It’s not what you know or who you know.  It’s who you get to know that is important.

The Ranger for Life (RFL) program isn’t just a transition out of the Army program, but we have vetted resources and counselors at the unit locations that will assist with transition and will provide Rangers with a comprehensive Individual Transition Plan to ensure a smooth transition, whenever that it.   Transition is a lifelong event, not a one time class.  Planning equals success in anything you do.  The Big 5 of Transition are the same Big 5 after Transition.

The RFL program isn’t just a jobs program.  The program will show you the way to a career by introducing you to fellow Rangers that have walked that path. These mentors- Ranger Buddies- will provide you honest, frank experiences so that you know what you are getting into before you commit too far.  Then, they will show you, guide you, and introduce you to their network.  80% of opportunities come from referrals!!  With planning, building relationships and networks, you will have opportunities walking out the door.  Networking and relationships are for life.  After you walk out the door, the same powerful network is there for Ranger Veterans.  RFL empowers Rangers for success in the short, mid, and long term, guiding them toward lifelong achievements through personalized mentorship.  The Ranger brotherhood is powerful, the Ranger network of networks is magic!

RFL has mentors, vetted partnerships and resources that encompass career planning, educational opportunities, financial wellness, benefits access, medical resources, networking connections, and overall well-being.

NETWORKING IS ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS. Your network can never be too big, and you can’t have too many Ranger Buddies.

The RFL program is the Rangers' lifelong network.  As Rangers transition into civilian life and navigate the challenges and opportunities that arise in their post-military careers, the program's emphasis on networking becomes increasingly valuable. Relationships and networks formed provide access to career opportunities and guidance, for life.

Moreover, the program's commitment to lifelong relationships reinforces the sense of camaraderie and belonging that Rangers experienced during their service. By maintaining an enduring presence and providing ongoing resources and assistance, the program ensures that Rangers never feel alone or isolated in their journey beyond the military.

The RFL program is about getting "left of boom." Positive transition + financial security + relationships = success.
