EVAN RICHARDS

Evan J. Richards was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After graduating high school, he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Analytical Finance from Xavier University.

Seeking clarity and purpose after college, Evan returned to Canisius High School for a bridge year with the Alumni Volunteer Corps. During that time of reflection, he committed himself to a goal he had carried for years—earning a place among the elite ranks of the 75th Ranger Regiment.

In June 2013, Evan successfully completed the Regiment’s demanding selection process and was assigned to Regimental Headquarters, where he served in the Training Room until his departure in 2017. His time in the Regiment shaped his view of service, leadership, and personal responsibility—lessons that continue to guide his life and work.

Evan now lives in Buffalo with his wife, Monica, and their twin boys, Ivan and Viktor. He remains actively engaged in the veteran community, committed to storytelling, mentorship, and helping others find healing and purpose after service.
