Erich B. Schneider

Gold Star and Fallen Ranger Program Coordinator

Erich serves as the Gold Star and Fallen Ranger Program Coordinator for the Three Rangers Foundation. A decorated combat veteran with over 23 years of active-duty service in the U.S. Army, Erich held leadership roles ranging from Rifle Platoon Leader to Battalion Commander. He deployed seven times in support of the Global War on Terrorism, including multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Among his most notable assignments, Erich commanded Alpha Company, 2/75th Ranger Regiment, and served as Assistant Operations Officer at the 75th Ranger Regiment Headquarters. These experiences deepened his respect for, and commitment to, our nation’s Gold Star and Fallen Ranger Families.

In 2025, Erich joined Gold Star Family members in climbing Gold Star Peak in Alaska—an experience that profoundly shaped his life and reaffirmed his dedication to honoring the legacy of Fallen Rangers. Now retired from active duty, he continues to champion Gold Star and Fallen Ranger Families through advocacy and support, working to ensure they remain connected to the Ranger community and that the memory of our fallen heroes is preserved.

In addition to his work with the Three Rangers Foundation, Erich serves as a Faculty Director and Clinical Professor at Arizona State University’s Intelligence Community – Center for Academic Excellence. He is passionate about developing the next generation of national security leaders and supporting the welfare of service members and their families. Erich lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with his wife and two children.
